Pop a pill and feel rich ! 

It’s paradox to conceive of such a pill. 

For you buy the pill, you become poorer, and yet you feel rich . 

Is that what we are advocating ?

I often wonder why people always picture relationship as a HIM/HER vs HER/HIM issue . 

Is the other party really the enemy that you plot and scheme ? 

I always thought that the enemy was love. 

And that both parties are standing at the same front, facing love.

Why do people play with fire ? 

Is it because fire is beautiful ? 

It it because fire is intense ? 

Or is it because people want to console themselves that they can never burn as beautifully and as intensely as the flame dancing in front of their eyes ?

Why do people feel ashamed of what they did ? If we all looked deep into our heart, the sense of shame is a feeling impinged upon ourselves. 

If there wasn’t another in the world, I wouldn’t mind skinny dipping.

If there wasn’t another in the world, I wouldn’t mind eating on the train.

If there wasn’t another in the world, I wouldn’t mind peeing in the wild. 

If there wasn’t another in the world, I wouldn’t mind not zipping up my pants.

I don’t like socializing. 

I never did. 

Just because I am adept at talking and don’t mind talking, doesn’t mean that I like socializing. 

Being able to do something does not necessary mean that you like doing something. 

Being alone is a blessing.

Socializing is tiring.

On 19th of August :

I marvel at myself because every other day even I find out new things about me that I never did. I had always thought that I could live without my lap top and my handphone simply because they are not essentials for living. Alas, I remained sleepless for the 2 nighs without my laptop and I was late for the morning without my laptop.

You may ask why late ? Stupidly, every morning I wake up, it has become a routine for me to check my mails before I pack everything and head out for school . With the crucial factor i.e my laptop missing, I actually dropped back to a deadly sleep because I can’t check my mails and as a result, I was half an hour late for a lecture.

Oh, how technology is manipulating our lives righ now.

21st of August:

Collected my laptop, satisfied. Only to find that my adapter had melted when I reach home.

I HATE THIS.

I was just staring out of the blank space as usual on my bus home when this was said by the reporter on Channel 5’s news on TVMobile. Note that I was using a pair of IEMs(In-Ear Monitors), so it technically wasn’t possible for me to pick up any nuance of noise. But sadly, my ears had to crave for such irrittable nonsense that caused me to remain bothered for the next three days.

When had the government “engage” its citizens on its decision making ?! Heinous! I may not have a perfect memory but recently I still remember the casino and integrated resort debate, raise of GST and the 377A issue.

Of these, the first 2 are major items that concern our bread and butter and yet their form of engagement with the citizens is patronizing. They simply let the people debate to their deaths in coffee shops. Fineto. Since when had they seriously taken the people’s views into consideration ?

Man, I remember the quote from the SDP, “XXX are the running whotes of XXX”.

I cannot believe how numb I have become.

Reality, you’ve won.

  As the bus cruises pass the Malaysia highway towards Johor Bahru, I am griped by a gear of the dark.

Forest in pitch black nothingness lies beside me outside the coach I’m in.

And I stare into it with imagination running amok in my mind. Would there be ghosts ? Pontianaks ? Would there by wild animals ? Tigers ? Maybe none.

But none of it matters because I was once again reminded of my lost childhood, of the innocent years of believing there are monster under my bed and tooth fairy claiming my tooth. Even though it’s not entirely pleasant to be plagued with fear. I am utterly happy for I am sure that my wild imagination is here to stay.

I thought… I had lost it…
